With the announcement of Paribus Mainnet launch, made on this tweet, I bring you summary of what you should know about Paribus and Paribus Mainnet.

The two states of a blockchain platform, protocol, or DApp are mainnet and testnet. (decentralized blockchain applications). A testnet is a mockup of a mainnet that is used to test new ideas before they are implemented on a real blockchain. Developers can utilize testnets as a free platform to build applications without worrying about upsetting other components of a cryptocurrency’s ecosystem.

As such, mainnets need to handle a lot more traffic than testnets do. The Ethereum network handles about 10 transactions per second (TPS), while Bitcoin handles about seven TPS at its peak capacity. To compare, Visa processes thousands of TPS every day.

These differences mean that you can’t just take your app from a testnet and put it directly onto a mainnet because it won’t handle all of those extra transactions smoothly or at all! This is why most apps are launched on their own testnets before they move to a mainnet.

Mainnets also have some other important functions that make them essential parts of cryptocurrency ecosystems. For example, they’re used as platforms for new tokens or coins to be created or distributed. They also serve as places where smart contracts are executed and where developers can create DApps using blockchain technology.

Now that the Paribus team is reaching the finish line to release the Paribus MVP mainnet. As we deliver on our development promises, so too are we keeping with our plans to keep $PBX a deflationary token. Just as before, we calculate the number of tokens to hurn hashed on our algorithmically defined.

Now that the Paribus team is reaching the finish line to release the Paribus MVP mainnet. As we deliver on our development promises, so to are we keeping with our plans to keep PBX a deflationary token. Just as before, we calculate the number of tokens to burn based on our algorithmically defined Deflationary Volume Incentive.

This process takes into account how much PBX has been traded across all markets, then our algorithm allocates the appropriate quantity of PBX to be removed from the ecosystem. Once the tokens have been burned they’re permanently removed from circulation, ensuring the total amount of PBX reduces over time.

When does a cryptocurrency project get to the mainnet?

Before a blockchain project’s mainnet goes live, the team will usually make prototypes of the blockchain network, which are then tested during the testnet phase. After fixing bugs and seeing how well the testnet works, the team will then launch the mainnet version of the blockchain, which should be fully deployed and working at that point.

For some, when developing your mainnet, you’ll also want to create a wallet that enables users to access their tokens. However, this doesn’t apply to every “mainnet”, depending on if you’re building DAPP, EVM compatible roll-up, etc.

Wallets can be hosted on servers or downloaded from exchanges, but they essentially serve two purposes: they store private keys which grant users access to their funds, and they enable users to interact with DApps that are built on top of your blockchain.

Moreover, wallet providers usually have tools that make it easy for you to integrate your coin onto their network. These tools will help speed up development time-which is important if you need to get in front of investors and start bringing in revenue as soon as possible.

Each month the quantity of PBX will fluctuate as trading volumes and the algorithm adapts to protect our ecosystem’s value.

At Paribus, as we move towards the mainnet release of our MVP and the excitement in the market builds, it’s worth remembering that this is just the first step in our journey. Readers of our development updates will know how far the team has come in working to prepare the NFT loan module.

To attract new users (and keep current ones), you’ll want to market your blockchain project and its potential benefits in such a way that resonates with industry, policymakers, academics, developers, end-users, investors in your field, and people who believe in the innovation your project offers and who would like to see your project being developed further.

Mainnet is the final product of blockchain projects that brings functionality to the network and gives the ecosystem confidence in your project’s technological potential and staying power.

Paribus Team firmly believes this is the best and perfect time for it. The MVP release will allow many more people to discover and interact with Paribus products. This paves the way for our loan integration later in the cycle as more liquidity pours into the market.

according to the market, Paribus has been especially fortunate that it’s worked out this way. Although the slow and steady approach is easy to criticize we stand by our trust in this being the most optimal method for long-term success.

Mainnet is a term used to describe a working, fully-operational blockchain. A mainnet network has been fully deployed and is in production, like the Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains. In a mainnet, cryptocurrency transactions are verified and recorded to the blockchain.

As Mainnet is the term used to describe when a blockchain protocol is fully developed and deployed, meaning that cryptocurrency transactions are being broadcasted, verified, and recorded on a distributed ledger technology (blockchain).

So as the excitement grows around the launch of our MVP and the token price pumps higher we’d like to remind everyone that highs and lows go hand in hand.

Paribus always encourage people who hold PBX to take a long-term view rather than trying to time the rollercoaster of crypto volatility. Irrespective of how high or low PBX goes you can rest assured we’ll be steady and strong in the pace of our ongoing development.
